Viewing the service cost settlement report

This report shows, per service cost settlement, the advance paid by tenants versus the actual costs, and the net amount to be charged or refunded.

Where to find this

  1. Go to Reports;

  2. Open the Service cost settlement report.

Filters

Above the report you will find two filters. Use Period to limit the settlements to a specific time range. Use Property to filter by a single property.

Summary tiles

At the top of the report four key figures are displayed: the number of settlements, total actual costs, total advances and the result. The result is the allocated costs minus the advance paid. A positive result means tenants owe an additional payment; a negative result means an advance must be refunded.

Table

The table shows one row per settlement with the columns Property, Period, Status, Costs, Advance, Result and Parties. The property name is a link to the corresponding property. Each settlement has a status: Draft, Final or Cancelled. The Parties column shows the number of tenants involved. At the bottom of the table a totals row sums up the costs, advances and overall result.
