Viewing the repayment schedule
The Repayment schedule shows the interest, repayment and remaining balance per monthly instalment for a provided financing. Summary statistics such as the principal, monthly instalment and total interest are displayed at the top.
Where to find this
- Open a provided financing from the list;
- Click the Repayment schedule tab.
Statistics
Above the schedule you will find four or five key figures: Principal, Monthly instalment, Total interest, Term (months) and — if a fixed-interest period has been set — Interest review.
Repayment schedule
The table shows the columns Period, Date, Opening balance, Interest, Repayment, Instalment amount and Remaining balance per instalment. When extra repayments have been registered, the column Extra repayment also appears. If a fixed-interest period is configured, the first instalment after it expires is marked with a "interest review" badge.
Extra repayments
When extra repayments have been registered, a separate table appears below the schedule with the columns Date, Amount, Effect and Note. These one-off repayments reduce the outstanding balance and trigger a recalculation of the remaining instalments.
