Viewing and interpreting the rent roll report

The rent roll report shows the state of lettings: one row per active lease, with the current rent and the most important contract details — a snapshot of what is currently let.

Where to find this

  1. Go to Reports;

  2. Open the Rent roll report.

Summary tiles

At the top of the report you will find four key figures. Active contracts shows the number of current leases. Base rent / month is the total base rent across all contracts. Service costs / month is the total of service cost advances. Total / month is the base rent plus service costs combined.

Table columns

Each row represents one active lease. The Object column shows the property the contract is linked to; click the name to navigate to the property. Units shows the let units; click it to open the lease. The Tenants column shows the Tenants on the contract; click a name to navigate to the Tenant. Segment shows the rental segment, such as regulated or free sector. Base rent and Service costs show the monthly amounts. End date shows the contract end date if one has been set. Next indexation shows the next scheduled rent indexation; an empty field means no indexation is scheduled. WWS max shows the maximum rent according to the latest WWS points assessment, including the points total if available.

Totals row

At the bottom of the table a totals row shows the sum of base rent and service costs across all displayed contracts.

Filtering by property

Use the property filter above the table to limit the report to one specific property. Choose All properties to see the full list again.
