Hand off a claim to collection
When the dunning process has been completed and a debtor has not paid, you can manually hand off the claim to collection. The dunning process stops after this for that invoice.
Hand off a claim to collection
Go to Reminders;
- Click the invoice that is in the final stage (Incasso) to open the detail panel;
- Click Transfer to collection at the bottom of the panel;
- Read the confirmation prompt and click Transfer to confirm the handoff.
After the handoff the invoice receives the status Handed off to collections and no further reminders can be sent for it. The Transfer to collection button only appears for invoices in the final stage of the dunning ladder.
